Hispanic owned businesses represent opportunities for economic growth both domestically and abroad. 


In January 2018, the Center for Hispanic Entrepreneurship, in partnership with Dominican University and IHCC released a study on the challenges and opportunities Hispanic-owned businesses face when they seek to expand internationally.

The Center for Hispanic Entrepreneurship provides business, economic development and entrepreneurial educational programs that:



  • Enhance business practices and increase the success of Hispanic entrepreneurs

  • Increase the awareness and visibility of the Hispanic business community as a vital economic force nationally, statewide and at the local level

  • Promote entrepreneurship among Hispanic youth and help build the next generation of Hispanic business leaders.
